“I would like to thank Bathurst Regional Council for all their support in hosting one of our Liberty A-League matches in the 2023/24 season,” said Hudson.
“In the year of a FIFA Women’s World Cup, it is very important to ensure that Women’s football is given the platform and exposure to continue the momentum off the back of the tournament.
“We hope that this can be the start of a fruitful relationship with Bathurst Regional Council so that we can continue the partnership in years to come.”
Bathurst Regional Council Mayor Robert Taylor said it is a great opportunity for the region to host a professional match.
“I’m sure fans from across the region will turn out in force to support the Wanderers in Carrington Park,” said Taylor.
“While the school and community engagement activities will help increase participation levels and bring new supporters to the club.”
