The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers have continued their strong showing in pre-season with a 3-1 win over NPL QLD side Brisbane City at Corporate Travel Management Stadium on Tuesday night.

Goals from Lachlan Scott, Abraham Majok and trialist Nick Krousoratis sealed the win for the Red & Black, who are in Queensland as part of a weeklong training camp.

Despite an energetic start from the home side, the Wanderers took the lead through Scott after 14 minutes.

Eight minutes later, Brisbane found an equaliser as Owain Thomas found the net with a header at the back post.

With the scores level at half time, the Wanderers would break the deadlock just four minutes through a Majok header.

As Tony Popovic rung the changes, trialist Krousoratis put the game to bed after some good work from Jaushua Sotirio.

The Wanderers will now switch focus to Saturday afternoon’s friendly fixture against Moreton Bay United as they look to wrap up their week in Queensland on a high.
