Western Sydney product Khoshaba signs two-year deal with Wanderers

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are pleased to confirm that Western Sydney product Alvina Khoshaba has re-signed with the club, securing a two-year deal as she continues her development within the Ninja A-League environment.

The 19-year-old left back has emerged as a promising talent within the Wanderers’ system, bringing strong technical ability and balance to the defensive line. A natural left-footer, Khoshaba represents an exciting profile not only for the club, but within the broader Australian football landscape.

Khoshaba was part of the Wanderers Academy during its inaugural season in the National Premier League and has continued to progress through the club’s pathway, earning opportunities at A-League level with six appearances in the domestic competition.

Her re-signing reflects the Wanderers’ commitment to developing local talent and providing clear opportunities for players from Western Sydney to transition into the professional environment.

Wanderers Head Coach Geoff Abrahams said Khoshaba’s attributes and development make her an exciting prospect for the club.

“Alvina is a technically strong player with a really good understanding of the game, particularly in her role as a left back,” said Abrahams.

“Having a natural left-footer in that position is a valuable asset, and she’s shown she can continue to grow and adapt at A-League level.

“She’s worked hard through our pathway and taken her opportunities when they’ve come, and we’re looking forward to seeing her continue to develop over the next two years.”

Khoshaba said the Wanderers environment has played an important role in her growth as a player.

“I think Wanderers is a great place for me to develop my abilities, and being around experienced players allows me to learn and improve every training session.”

She spoke about her ambitions for the next stage of her career.

“I want to continue to develop and progress and hopefully help the team push towards finals and semi-finals football. I also want to keep working towards national team opportunities and getting back into that environment.”

Khoshaba also acknowledged the club’s members and supporters for their continued backing.

“Thank you to everyone who comes out to support us, no matter the conditions. It really helps us perform at our best and means a lot to the team.”

She also thanked those who have supported her journey so far.

“I’m grateful to all the Wanderers staff who have helped me get to this point, as well as those outside the club. I also want to thank Jesus Christ and my family for their constant support. I wouldn’t be here without them.”

Khoshaba’s re-signing further reinforces the Wanderers’ commitment to developing Western Sydney talent and strengthening its pathway from Academy and NPL football into the Ninja A-League squad.
