Alou Kuol
AttackerEnergetic, fearless and always a threat in front of goal, Alou Kuol is one of Australian football’s most exciting young talents.
Kuol began his senior career with the Goulburn Valley Suns before joining the Central Coast Mariners’ youth setup in 2019. He made his professional debut in the 2019/20 season and quickly caught the eye with his dynamic playing style and sharp goal-scoring instinct.
His breakout 2020/21 season with the Mariners saw him score seven goals in 30 appearances, earning him a move to Bundesliga side VfB Stuttgart in 2021. While in Germany, Kuol gained valuable experience with VfB Stuttgart II and spent time on loan at SV Sandhausen in the 2. Bundesliga.
In July 2023, Kuol returned to the Mariners, where he played a key role in their 2023/24 campaign and continued to showcase his attacking flair. On the international stage, he impressed for Australia’s U23s, finishing as the top scorer at the 2024 WAFF U23 Championship with three goals.
At just 23, Kuol offers pace, creativity and a natural instinct for finding the back of the net, reaffirming his status as one of the A-Leagues’ most exciting and promising attackers.
