Dylan Pierias
15 AttackerDylan Pierias made headlines in 2016 when he became the first player born in the 21st century to play in the A-League. Then at Melbourne City, Pierias showed glimpses of his pace and determination, primarily from right back.
In his first season for Western United, Pierias made 21 appearances including two starts and was the club’s first recipient of the Young Player of the Season award.
Dylan backed that up by playing all 26 games in season two, once again winning the Young Player of the Season and earning a call-up to the Olyroos squad for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The No.5 was an important part of the side once again in 2021/22, scoring two goals and featuring in 25 matches, including in the Grand Final where Western United became A-League Men Champions for the first time.
