Born in Dubbo in the Western Plains of NSW, Erica played her junior football for Bathurst City Panthers, winning the Women’s Super League player of the year as a 17-year-old in 2002. Erica’s impressive showings at the regional level quickly resulted in selection for the NSW Sapphires side in the former WNSL. Spending a number of years in the NSW Premier League, now NPLW, Erica most recently played for Illawara Stingrays, winning the Player’s Player title in 2013 after helping the side to a runners-up placed finish. Erica was announced as a Western Sydney Wanderers signing in October 2015 and made her Westfield W-League debut against Adelaide United in Round 1, scoring her first goal with a composed finish against Canberra United in Round 7 with her form earning her the Wanderers Medal for Player of the Year. Halloway is set to embark on her fifth Westfield W-League season with the Red & Black this year, having now made 46 appearances and scored seven goals. The winger re-joins the club off the back of an impressive National Premier League Women's season where she featured in 23 matches for Illawarra Stingrays, scoring six goals.
