Ricky Fransen

Ricky Fransen is an 18-year-old central defender who has come through the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy.

Born in New Zealand on 3 March 2007, Fransen has established himself as a reliable right-footed centre back, known for his composure and strength when clearing danger. Standing at 195cm, his aerial presence and physicality make him a difficult opponent for attackers.

Over the past two seasons, Fransen has gained valuable senior experience in the NPL NSW, further developing his defensive qualities as he continues his progression with the Wanderers.
