Biography
Growing up in Sylvania Waters, Mourdoukoutas started playing football at the Football NSW Institute before moving to Sydney Olympic's youth team in 2016.
In 2017, Mourdoukoutas joined the Wanderers Academy playing in both the club's National Premier League 2 first grade side and Championship-winning Foxtel Y-League team.
After a number of call-ups for the Young Socceroos and consistent performances for the club, Mourdoukoutas made his Hyundai A-League debut in Round 16 against Wellington Phoenix coming on as a substitute in a 1-1 draw.
Mourdoukoutas was promoted to a two-year senior contract on 6 June 2018 and went on to make 10 appearances and score one goal in his first senior season at the club.
The young defender then worked his way into regularly featuring for the first team, making another 10 appearances the following season.
Mourdoukoutas signed for an additional three season's in February 2021 and has emerged as a consistent central defender for the club.
The 2020/21 A-League season saw Mourdoukoutas make 13 appearances.
