Western Sydney Wanderers FC have tonight confirmed the departure of a number of players from the club’s Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s squad.
Forward Bernie Ibini is set to depart the club at the end of his two year-deal, having featured in 46 A-Leagues matches and scored five goals.
A proud leader in the Western Sydney community, Ibini played a significant role for the club both on and off the field as a proud ambassador for the region.
Dimi Petratos’ one-year loan deal with the club concludes.
Petratos returned to his hometown club at the start of the 2021/22 season and made 23 A-Leagues appearances and scored three goals during his stint.
Foreign signings Tomer Hemed, Tomas Mejias, Ziggy Gordon and Keijiro Ogawa will all say farewell to the club at the end of their deals.
Goalkeeper Mejias made 13 A-Leagues appearances for the Red & Black during his one-year deal with the club while Japanese forward Ogawa’s loan deal comes to an end after 26 A-Leagues appearances and two goals.
Wanderers Isuzu UTE A-League Golden Boot winner Hemed departs the club after 20 appearances and six goals over his one season.
Gordon’s two-year deal with the club concludes with the Scottish defender featuring in 28 A-Leagues matches during his time at the club.
