The Red & Black will be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the Isuzu UTE A-League season last Saturday after being handed a 3-0 defeat at home against the Mariners.
The result broke a run of brilliant defensive performances with the Wanderers having only only conceded one goal in a month of football.
Similarly, Sydney FC head into the fixture after a disappointing defeat to Brisbane Roar in Redcliffe, 3-1. Despite controlling much of the match, the Sky Blues couldn’t capitalise on their chances resulting in their second loss in five matches.
In what is set to be one of the biggest matches of the Isuzu UTE A-League season, the Red & Black will travel to enemy territory on Saturday night to face their biggest rivals in the Sydney Derby.
