Everything You Need to Know About Today’s Season Opener: Wanderers vs Melbourne City

The wait is over! The Western Sydney Wanderers kick off their 2025/26 season tonight at CommBank Stadium against reigning champions Melbourne City.

Here’s all the info you need to make the most of match day.

1. Member Pack Collection presented by The Woodstock

From 3:00pm, the Membership Team will be stationed at CommBank Stadium, ready to assist Members ahead of kick-off.

  • Member Pack fulfilment is available from the Merchandise Van outside Gate B, so you can grab your pack before heading inside to soak up the pre-match atmosphere.
  • The Member Services Window will also be open from 3:00pm to help with any questions or support on the day.

Memberships start from just $20 per match, giving fans access to exclusive experiences, rewards, and integrated public transport, making it easier than ever to be part of Wanderland.

2. Wanting to Sign Up as a Member or Need Help?

The Membership Team is ready to assist from 3:00pm at the Member Services Window. Whether you’re signing up for the first time or need help with your account, they’ve got you covered.

3. Gelatissimo WanderKid: First Free Match

Calling all Gelatissimo WanderKids! Don’t miss your first FREE match today at CommBank Stadium. The WanderKid program gives grassroots players the chance to watch their local Western Sydney heroes live in action.

4. Want to Purchase Tickets?

Avoid queues on match day by pre-purchasing your tickets online. It’s quick, convenient, and helps you save time so you can focus on cheering on the Wanderers.

6. March Guidelines

Join the pre-match march and kick off the season in full Wanderers spirit! To make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience, please follow these key guidelines:

March Route: Departs Prince Alfred Square, Parramatta at 3:50pm.
Stay Together: Remain with the group from start to finish – avoid stopping or separating.
Keep Moving: The march must stay in motion at all times. Stopping or chanting at intersections is not permitted.
Respectful Conduct: Keep the atmosphere positive. Avoid offensive or inappropriate language.

General Guidelines:

  • Follow instructions from organisers, Chief Marshals, marshals, and Police.
  • Do not bring or display national, religious, or military flags, banners, or symbols.
  • Leave flares, fireworks, smoke bombs, or anything unsafe at home.
  • Avoid offensive or discriminatory behaviour.
  • Covering your face with scarves, balaclavas, or masks is only permitted for medical or religious reasons.

By sticking to these simple guidelines, we can create an electric, safe, and exciting atmosphere while celebrating the unity of the Wanderers family.

7. Member Prize Draw: Win an Away Trip

All Members in the stands at CommBank Stadium for the first Isuzu UTE A-League home match against Melbourne City on Saturday 18 October at 5:00pm will go into the draw to win a trip for two to our away clash against Adelaide United.
