Head coach Alen Stajcic has named his extended squad for Friday night’s clash against Adelaide United at Coopers Stadium.
Western Sydney head into Friday night’s meeting with Adelaide United off the back of a gritty 1-1 draw against Macarthur, where young gun Anthony Pantazopoulos’ late header salvaged a point after an early setback at Campbelltown Stadium.
Adelaide, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back after falling 2-1 to Auckland FC last weekend. Despite Luka Jovanovic’s equaliser just before half-time, the Reds were undone by a late strike from Belgian midfielder Louis Verstraete at Go Media Stadium.
