Vidackovic extends stay with the Red & Black for two seasons

Western Sydney Wanderers FC are pleased to confirm that goalkeeper Tristan Vidackovic has re-signed with the Club, extending his time in the Red & Black for an additional two seasons.

Standing at 2.03 metres tall, the 23-year-old shot stopper joined the Wanderers in July 2024 and has continued to develop within the Club’s goalkeeping ranks.

Born and raised in Sydney, Vidackovic has represented Australia at Under-23 level and brings valuable international experience after spending time in Portugal with Vasco da Gama before returning home to join the Wanderers.

Vidackovic made three domestic appearances during the 2024/25 season and will continue to provide strong competition within the squad as he enters the next chapter of his journey with the Club.

Vidackovic said extending his time at the Wanderers was a proud moment.

“I’ve been a Wanderers fan since I was a kid, so it’s a pleasure to play for this Club and represent Western Sydney,” said Vidackovic.

“I want to keep competing, show my quality and hopefully help the team win some silverware.

“We have the best members and fans in the league and I hope we can repay them by playing the best football in the league.”

Western Sydney Wanderers Football Director Mal Impiombato said the Club was pleased to retain the talented goalkeeper.

“Tristan is a young goalkeeper with excellent attributes and a strong desire to keep improving every day,” said Impiombato.

“We’re pleased to see him continue his journey with the Wanderers and look forward to watching his development in the seasons ahead.”
