Western Sydney Wanderers FC are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Abby Smith from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side Utah Royals.
Smith started her career in the NWSL in 2016 with Boston Breakers where she made 21 appearances over two seasons.
Following the dissolving of the Breakers, Smith made the switch to new club Utah Royals where she has played for the last two years.
The agile shot-stopper during her recent stint at the Royals made 31 saves and had six clean sheets.
This Westfield W-League season with the Wanderers will be the first time Smith has played outside the United States.
