2023 Schools Cup Regional Rounds Recap

Over 2000 students from schools across Western Sydney came together in Term 2 to compete for a place in the Wanderers Schools Cup Finals.

It was a massive term for local schools participating in the 2023 Wanderers Schools Cup Regional Rounds, one of the biggest years of the tournament so far, powered by ABAL Banking.

A change in the Cup this season saw Primary Schools participate in an updated 5v5 competition, held at the Wanderers Fives Facility while Secondary Schools played at Wanderers Football Park.

This year also saw the Schools Cup head back to Bathurst for the Western Regional Round.

These days are not possible without the help of Wanderers SEDA Diploma Students and SEDA College Students as well as the help of Hills Football Referees who ensured professionalism and good sportsmanship throughout all the games played.

The successful teams of each regional round will now have to prepare for the upcoming Finals in August.
