Western Sydney Wanderers FC are proud to confirm that Academy players Ruby Betro, Annabelle Croll and Charlotte Bradshaw have committed their future to the club.
The signings mark an important next step in the development of the three promising young players and further reinforce the Wanderers’ commitment to providing a clear pathway for emerging talent through the club’s Academy system.
The trio will continue their development within the Wanderers football program, providing them with further opportunities to grow both on and off the pitch as they work towards the next stage of their careers.
Western Sydney Wanderers Football Director Mal Impiombato said the signings of 3 Junior Matilda’s reflected the club’s ongoing commitment to identifying and developing young talent.
“Ruby, Annabelle and Charlotte have all shown fantastic commitment to their development and have earned this opportunity through the work they have put in within our Academy,” said Impiombato.
“Providing a genuine pathway for young players is an important part of what we are building at the Wanderers and these signings allow us to continue supporting three very promising Junior Matilda’s players through the next stage of their development.
“For Ruby, Annabelle and Charlotte, this is another step in their journey and an opportunity to continue challenging themselves within our environment.
Wanderers Ninja A-League head coach Geoff Abrahams said the trio had shown they were ready to take the next step in their development.
“It’s fantastic to be able to bring Ruby, Annabelle and Charlotte into our senior program and reward the progress they have made through the Academy,” said Abrahams.
“The opportunity to train consistently in a senior environment will be really important for their development, and our job now is to continue supporting them and giving them the tools to keep progressing.”
“We want young players within our Academy to see that there is a genuine opportunity to progress into the Ninja A-League squad, and Ruby, Annabelle and Charlotte are great examples of that pathway in action.”
The signings of Betro, Croll and Bradshaw continues the Wanderers’ focus on developing the next generation of players through the club’s Academy system and creating opportunities for emerging talent to represent Western Sydney at the highest level.
