Over 200 students from the Canterbury-Bankstown region came together to compete for a place in the Wanderers Schools Cup Finals presented by ABAL Banking.
It was another exciting way to end the week for the primary schools that travelled to Jim Ring Reserve in Birrong to play in the round-robin tournament.
The schools had a fun day, playing some fantastic football prior to the rain at the end of the day.
Each school had their teams fighting hard to make it to the regional semi-finals of the day. The divisions were tight, and the finalists made it through and earned their spot into the Schools Cup Finals held in November at Wanderers Football Park.
Again, many thanks must be given to our Western Sydney Wanderers SEDA Diploma Students and SEDA College Students who assisted with the set up and running of the day. They also played a massive role in supplying quality refereeing and ensured the day ran smoothly.
Thomas Hassall Anglican College were crowned the winners of the Primary Boys round while Beverly Hills North Public School were crowned the winners of the Primary Girls round.
