Carluccio departs on loan to Perth

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have tonight agreed to a loan deal for forward Jarrod Carluccio that will see him at Isuzu UTE A-League side Perth Glory with a view to permanently move.

Carluccio has been part of the Wanderers family since 2015 and was one of the club’s very first youth signings as a 15-year-old.

The proud Western Sydney local rose through the Academy ranks and went on to make his first senior appearance in the club’s historic match against Leeds United.

Carluccio went on to make 19 A-Leagues appearances for the club and was part of the National Premier League squad that earned the club promotion in 2022.

Western Sydney Wanderers head coach Marko Rudan thanked Jarrod for his contribution to the club.

“Jarrod has been part of the Wanderers family for the last eight years and we thank him for his contribution not only on the field, but off the field in the Western Sydney community,” said Rudan.

“We wish him all the best on his journey in Perth.”

Jarrod Carluccio thanked the Wanderers for the opportunity over the last eight years.

“Every time I got to put on the jersey it was personal. I spent eight years at the club that represented where I grew up and I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to represent Western Sydney,” said Carluccio.

“To the coaches, staff, backroom staff and players. Thank you all for helping shape me as a player but most importantly as a person.

“To the members, fans and Red & Black Bloc. You stood by me and the team through good times and bad. You allowed me to live out my dream when I first joined the club as a 15-year-old, to play in front of you. You are what makes this club so special.”
