Duke flies out to join national team

Western Sydney Wanderers FC have confirmed the departure of striker Mitch Duke who will miss the club’s final two regular-season matches to link up with the Australian national team in the Middle East.

Duke has been named in head coach Graham Arnold’s 31-player squad for Australia’s final four Round 2 Group B qualifying fixtures against Kuwait, Chinese Taipei, Nepal, and Jordan in the nation’s quest to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Socceroos will play these four matches over the first two weeks of June with full match and broadcast details found here.
