Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the re-signing of midfielder Rosie Galea for the Westfield W-League 2020/21 season.
The 19-year-old local was part of the Wanderers squad last season as a scholarship player and has this season been promoted to a senior contract.
Head coach Dean Heffernan said he was looking forward to working with Rosie again.
“Rosie is a very talented young player and we are very lucky to have her at the Wanderers again this season,” said Heffernan.
Galea said she was excited to be continuing her development at the Red & Black.
“My experience at the Wanderers last year was really good,” said Galea.
“Although I didn’t get a lot of game time, the environment was amazing and I really learned a lot from both the coaching staff and my teammates.
“I just want to keep working hard, developing as a player to be able to wear the Red & Black as much as possible.”
