The trends, stats and history between Western Sydney Wanderers and Perth Glory.
The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers get their busy schedule underway in Western Australia this weekend when they take on Perth Glory at nib Stadium on Saturday 22nd February, kick-off at 9:30pm AEDT.
Having had a week off to rejuvenate and prepare for their busy schedule which sees them play 14 games in eight weeks, the Wanderers will be aiming to get their demanding run off to a winning start against an eighth placed Perth Glory.
The Red and Black enter the match having never lost to Perth in the history of the Hyundai A-League with a single draw the only blight on a perfect record. With Perth sitting just three points off the bottom of the ladder and without a win in five matches, those in the Wanderers camp have cause for confidence.
In attack the Wanderers have been in good form scoring in a league high 17 league fixtures this season (out of 19). Having scored against Perth in every match between the two sides it is a trend the club will look to continue.
The man to watch in Saturday will be Aaron Mooy, the dynamic midfielder going for his hat-trick of goals against the Glory having scored their previous two meetings and helping the Wanderers on to an outstanding win three weeks ago at Pirtek Stadium.
Three points could see the Wanderers go within four points of top of the table Brisbane Roar and maintain their stranglehold on second place.
Kick-off is at 9:30pm AEDT (6:30pm local time) with coverage on Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 1HD and ABC Grandstand.
