Tickets for the match are on sale now. Wanderers members have free entry.

The Wanderers will play in their second consecutive home fixture on Friday night at Wanderers Football Park where they will take on Newcastle Jets.

The match is set to mark Hunt’s third appearance in the Red & Black hoops, something she has enjoyed so far.

“It feels wonderful to be at the club. It’s a fresh start for me, it’s my first year at the Wanderers,” said Hunt.

“Especially to be based in Sydney and to be surrounded by some wonderful team members and staff.

“So I’m really enjoying it so far.”

The Wanderers head into the fixture against the Jets after a difficult two opening rounds that see them currently seventh on the ladder.

Looking back on their most recent fixture, a 2-0 loss against cross-town rivals Sydney FC at CommBank Stadium, Hunt is confident that the team’s hard work at training will soon translate to a result on Friday night.

“We had some really good passages of play and I think we just really need to knuckle down this week and really focus on keeping the ball,” said Hunt.

“I think we have the potential to do it, we show it in training and it’s just delivering that on game day.

“Finding simple options and being confident and comfortable to do that, I think we have a lot of potential to do that.”
