Football Australia confirms that there were no direct Red Cards or Citation Incidents arising from the Isuzu UTE A-League Men matches played between Friday, 21 February 2025 and Sunday 23 February 2025.
Football Australia notes that there were two (2) incidents which arose over the course of the A-Leagues Matches outlined above resulting in suspensions, which are set out below.
Trent Sainsbury (Central Coast Mariners)
In or around the 56th minute of Central Coast Mariners FC’s (Mariners) Isuzu UTE A-League Men match against Western Sydney Wanderers FC (Wanderers) on Saturday, 22 February 2025, Trent Sainsbury (Sainsbury) received a Yellow Card.
In accordance with the A-Leagues Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations), as Sainsbury accumulated his fifth (5th) Yellow Card of the season, he will serve a Mandatory Match Suspension of one (1) Isuzu UTE A-League Men match, before being available for selection for the Mariners’ match against Melbourne Victory FC on Saturday, 8 March 2025.
Nicolas Milanovic (Western Sydney Wanderers)
In or around the 39th minute of Wanderers’ Isuzu UTE A-League Men match against Mariners on Saturday, 22 February 2025, Nicolas Milanovic (Milanovic) received a Yellow Card.
In accordance with the Regulations, as Milanovic accumulated his fifth (5th) Yellow Card of the season, he will serve a Mandatory Match Suspension of one (1) Isuzu UTE A-League Men match, before being available for selection for the Wanderers’ match against Melbourne Victory FC on Saturday, 15 March 2025.
