Iacopo La Rocca and Mateo Poljak have been voted by Wanderers members as the midfield pairing in the club’s Team of the Decade.
Foundation player Iacopo La Rocca joined the Wanderers from Grasshopper Zurich in Switzerland and scored eight goals in 78 appearances for the Wanderers.
An anchor in the midfield, La Rocca won both the A-League Premiership and the AFC Champions League during his three seasons at the club.
La Rocca is also the only Wanderers player to have won the Joe Marston Medal.
Foundation player Mateo Poljak was also part of the club’s early success, helping guide the Wanderers to their historic Premiership win in their first season.
Poljak made over 70 appearances for the club and was also part of the club’s 2014 Asian Champions League squad who were crowned Champions.
La Rocca and Poljak will now be honoured in a lapel pin that can be collected by Wanderers members during Season X at Wanderland.
Voting for the Team of the Decade continues with your choice of an attacking midfielder/number 10. Wanderers members can vote here.
