Perth Glory won the last A-League Women meeting between the clubs, triumphing 1-0 at BGC Stadium – Dorrien Gardens last season. Deborah-Anne De La Harpe scored Perth Glory Women’s only goal in the 49th minute.
Rylee Baisden and Cyera Hintzen have caught the eye for Perth Glory this season. Baisden is the club’s top scorer with five goals, two of those having been the tone-setting first of the match. Hintzen has been nearly as impressive, netting four times, including one match-opener.
Western Sydney Wanderers’ leading lights in attack have been Sophie Harding, Olivia Price, and Amy Harrison, who have each netted twice.
