The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) have announced a fixture change ahead of this weekend’s A-Leagues action.
Due to hot temperatures forecasted in Sydney on Sunday, Western Sydney Wanderers’ meeting with Brisbane Roar in the Liberty A-League has also been pushed back from 4pm to 7pm (AEDT) at Wanderers Football Park.
The decision was made due to the likelihood of the APL’s Heat Policy thresholds being exceeded at the originally scheduled kick-off times and to give the clubs time to prepare accordingly – along with all other stakeholders including fans and broadcast crews.
