Ninkovic has featured heavily in the Wanderers undefeated start to the Isuzu UTE A-League season, playing in almost every minute of every match, using his experience to guide the club to some very important victories.
“I think if you remember last week I said to you that we need to keep the ball better. I think we kept the ball a lot better against a good team (the Jets) and we deserve to win.
“I still enjoy playing and training every day. I came here to help the team to win games.
“I’m really enjoying it and we have a great group of people.”
With the Wanderers turning their attention this week to Central Coast Mariners, the Red & Black are determined to put on another strong performance for the club’s passionate members and fans.
“We have another game at home (Central Coast) and we want to show a good performance,” said Ninkovic.
“Four games, ten points, it’s not bad. We need to keep going.”
Also making the cross-city switch this season has been youngster Calem Nieuwenhof, who like Ninkovic, has impressed in every match so far.
“He’s a great guy, a very good player and very talented,” said Ninkovic.
“You can see in the last four games, he’s been amazing and I’m so happy for him.”
