It’s back-to-back home games for Western Sydney Wanderers in NPL 2 as they face HIlls United on Saturday.
The Round 16 clash at Wanderers Football Park comes a week after the Red & Black scraped home in a thrilling 3-2 win over Mounties Wanderers at the same venue.
Western Sydney had jumped to a 2-0 lead after a mere six minutes of action but in taking their foot off the gas, they allowed Mounties a way back into the game.
With 15 minutes remaining, defender Phillip Cancar rose from a set-piece and emphatically headed home the winner.
Given that Mounties had only won one game this season, Wanderers will need to improve against Hills.
The Brumbies sit ninth on the ladder and are 12 points off the top five, making this a must-win game if they want to be involved at the end of the season.
They are coming off a strong 1-0 win over Bonnyrigg White Eagles, a week after running ladder-leading St George City close, 5-3.
The last time these two sides met it was a hugely impressive win for the Red & Black as they ran out 4-1 winners on Easter Saturday with Ali Auglah notching a brace.
You can watch this game live on NPL TV with kick-off at 7:00pm or keep an eye on Twitter for match updates.
