The Western Sydney Wanderers travel to Lynwood Park this weekend to take on Macarthur Rams.
A chance to re-ignite the Red & Black winning streak arrives this Sunday when the Wanderers head down Sydney’s South west to take on Macarthur Rams away at Lynwood Stadium.
The Wanderers enter the tie against Rams with cautious confidence following a come from behind victory against Hills United contested to the very end of proceedings.
An Allyssa Ng-Saad hat-trick was the response needed for the Wanderers to overcome an 0-1 deficit established early in the last week’s tie however a goal from the visitors delivered a shift in momentum that saw the Wanderers required to employ strong defence to see out victory at Wanderers Football Park last Sunday evening.
Hosts, Macarthur Rams, will be looking to trouble the Wanderers and regain momentum of their own. The Rams are currently winless in their last three fixtures following a three-match winning streak that preceded their current form.
The home side will be looking to cause an upset in the tie Sunday afternoon and create safe distance between their side and a chasing pack toward the bottom half of the NPL Women’s NSW ladder.
The Wanderers head into the weekend with a chance this Sunday to once again display the determined football synonymous with a great NPL Women’s NSW campaign so far.
