U13s 1-0 win
Head coach: Rob Bradshaw

The U13s managed to start the game well in some parts but lacking in others. Small details with decision making or technical execution lead to things be created or turned over, however, more patience was required to control the tempo of the game going into the sheds 0-0 at the break. The second half required more care to create good chances and make the small things count. It took until the 57th minute to break the deadlock through a well-taken opportunity by Adrian Trovato who took the chance very well and secure the win.

U14s 0-0 draw
Head coach: Peter Kofinas

It was a disappointing result for the U14s who took too long to find themselves in the match as the opposition relied on their physical presence to halt the Red & Black from finding any rhythm. The second half saw improvement from the Wanderers as they took more control of possession and created better opportunities but it wasn’t enough in the end to break the deadlock. The draw sees the Wanderers U14s side finish the first half of the season without any losses which was a positive way to end the match.

U15s 1-0 win
Head coach: Yianni Tsattalios

The U15s made it six wins in a row with a hard-fought victory over Spirit FC. The scores were locked at 0-0 until Oli Randazzo broke the deadlock in the 45th min, chipping the keeper from outside the box. The win secured first place for the Red & Black in the U15 Blue side of the draw and they will head into the second round of fixtures full of confidence.

U16s 4-1 win
Head coach: Geoff Abrahams

A sloppy performance in the first-half against a well-organised and hard-working team saw the Wanderers down 1-0 early. George Jabbour then equalised and a great finish from Marcus Younis had the Red & Black up 2-1 at the break. A second-half penalty to Dean Bosnjak and a goal to Filip Dimovski rounded out a 4-1 win.

U18s 4-0 win
Head coach: Dean Mayer

The 18’s finished the first part of the season with a comfortable 4-0 win over NWS Spirit. The opposition were well organised and put up a good challenge for the team to try and break down their defensive structure. It took 20 minutes and a great phase of team play before Thomas Lopez was slid through on goal to take the lead. Very quickly the team hit again this time through Frans Deli. In the second half Spirit chased the game causing a few problems by pressing high and hitting on the counter attack. Credit to the U18’s as they managed the game well nullifying any threats and managing to score another two goals in the second half through Edmun Haddad and Jesse Photi.
