One Week to Go: Free Girls Skills Clinic at Wanderers Fives

With just one week to go, Western Sydney Wanderers FC is calling on young female footballers across the region to register for the FREE Girls Skills Clinic on Friday 2 May at Wanderers Fives in Rooty Hill—a key event as part of Female Football Week celebrations.

Proudly supported by the NSW Government, this special evening is designed to inspire the next generation of female footballers through a fun, inclusive and development-focused experience.

The clinic features three tailored sessions to suit various age groups:

  • 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: 5–8-year-olds
  • 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM: 9–12-year-olds
  • 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM: 13+ years

With a goal of welcoming 540 participants, the clinic will be led by A-League Women’s staff, providing high-quality coaching and guidance throughout the night. Adding to the experience, Ninja A-League Players will be on-site, offering young players a chance to interact with and learn from professional athletes.

In addition to the football, the event will offer a vibrant community atmosphere with:

  • A live DJ
  • A variety of food trucks
  • Face painting and hair braiding
  • Official merchandise for sale
  • Meet and greet opportunities with Ninja A-League players
  • Interactive activations from NPA Events

Female Football Week is a nationwide initiative that celebrates the achievements and growth of women’s football. The Wanderers are proud to support the movement by creating opportunities like this for young girls in Western Sydney.

Registrations are now open, but places are limited and filling fast. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible night.
