The weekly segment which takes you through what our players are doing during the Westfield W-League and Foxtel National Youth League off-season.

This allows you to follow how our players are performing for their NPL and overseas clubs while keeping you up-to-date with fixtures in case you’d like to go and watch them live.

Mens NPL 1

Anthony Schmidt played a full 90 minutes for Marconi Stallions in their 1-0 win over Rockdale City Suns. Schmidt played a crucial role and even blocked a shot in the final minutes of the match to save the game.

South Coast Wolves’ Thomas Manos was extremely busy in the goals against Sydney United 58. Manos punched out a handful of crosses and his general handling was admirable despite a 5-1 loss where three of the goals were penalties.

NPL U20

Michael Trajkovski played on Easter Monday when his Sydney Olympic drew with APIA Leichhardt Tigers 2-2; a decent result after Olympic went down to nine men after two red cards. Trajkovski played a full match and almost had a goal assist after a back heel pass but the resulting shot was saved well by the keeper. He also hit the woodwork with a left foot volley outside the box.

Richard Darko did not participate in Sydney United’s match due to injury.

NPL U18

Keanu Baccus and Blacktown City had their game called off due to rain while Jordan Koton did not participate in Sydney United’s match due to injury.
