Season Launch 2014

NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers launched their 2014 season last night at Jenko Pavilion, Sydney Showgrounds.

Players from the Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League, Foxtel NYL and Powerchair squads were in attendance and joined by notables such as Minister for Sport & Recreation Stuart Ayres, Chairman Paul Lederer and television personalities from Fox Sports, SBS and Channel 10.
 
Football broadcast legends Les Murray and Andy Paschalidis were on hand to go through some old memories on stage before the Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League teams were presented to the crowd.
 
Head coach Tony Popovic and captains Nikolai Topor-Stanley and Caitlin Cooper gave some insights to the Club’s plans on the field while Paul Lederer and CEO John Tsatsimas went through the Wanderers’ progress so far and vision for the future.

Guests were treated to Primo Wanderdogs and beverages from Lion, entertained by the NRMA insurance Trickster, MC Tara Rushton and Nike’s Winner Stays On tournament.
 
Those attending were also treated to a selection of food including Primo Wanderdogs and drinks from Lion – kept cool by Mitsubishi Electric – and got involved themselves playing FIFA 15 from EA Sports and testing their kicking-speed through the Put Some Pepper On It activation.
 
Sound Agents provided a fantastic venue set-up which included a display of the latest Hyundais, supplied by Castle Hill Hyundai.
