Working closely with the club’s community engagement team, I play an active role in planning and executing initiatives that make a positive impact.
From coordinating events to engaging with participants, I am grateful for the chance to contribute to creating change and bringing people together through the power of sport.
But it doesn’t stop there. I also delve into project planning, learning the intricacies of organising successful initiatives.
From setting goals to managing timelines and collaborating with my classmates, I gain firsthand experience in bringing ideas to life. These practical skills are invaluable as they prepare me for the dynamic world of sports management.
Sports psychology becomes a fascinating area of exploration for me. I dive deep into understanding the psychological factors that contribute to peak performance in athletes.
Armed with this knowledge, I learn strategies to help athletes optimize their mindset, focus, and perform at their best. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how my insights positively impact their mental well-being and athletic performance.
Of course, my education wouldn’t be complete without developing strong business skills. I learn about marketing, branding, financial management, and sponsorship acquisition, all within the context of the sports industry.
This well-rounded knowledge equips me to navigate the business side of sports, giving me a competitive edge in this ever-evolving field.
Each day brings new challenges and growth, and I feel incredibly privileged to learn from professionals who are passionate about what they do.
These hands-on experiences, alongside the guidance and mentorship I receive, are shaping me into a well-rounded and confident professional in the sports industry.

The Western Sydney Wanderers FC works in collaboration with SEDA Group RTO: 22503 on marketing and promotional services relating to the recruitment of prospective students for this program. This program consists of SIS50321 Diploma of Sport and BSB50120 Diploma of Business. SEDA Group is responsible for the training and assessment and the issuance of AQF certification documents.
