W-League internationals presented to 13,000 fans

The Western Sydney Wanderers’ latest signings had a special introduction to the club’s passionate fan base during half time against the Jets.

With the Hyundai A-League already in season, three of the Red & Black’s four American signings were presented to the crowd.

Kendall Fletcher, Katie Stengel and Paige Nielsen were introduced to the 13,247 fans in attendance with Fletcher even putting on her best Australian accent for the crowd.
 
The internationals are part of the Westfield W-League squad who kick-off their season on Sunday 6 November as they take on Perth Glory.
 
Fletcher is a Westfield W-League legend who has never missed the finals in her career, Stengel is a goal scorer who won the golden boot for Bayern Munich in their championship year and Nielson has joined from a recent stint playing UEFA Champions League.

The team’s first home game is a double header when they take on Adelaide United on Sunday 20 November at Marconi Stadium.
 
Kick-off is at 3pm followed by the Foxtel NYL team playing Central Coast Mariners at 6pm.
