The Westfield W-League returns to Western Sydney when the Wanderwomen host their first home match of the season this Sunday.
Fresh off a dominant performance in a 2-2 draw in Adelaide last week, the strengthened Wanderers outfit will be looking to take down Brisbane Roar at Marconi Stadium.
It has been a very organised pre-season for the Red & Black with a number of key signings who all showed their worth last weekend.
15-year-old Ellie Carpenter was a stand-out for the Red & Black on the flank, defending impressively while continuously overlapping in attack.
USA International Keelin Winters was also key, essentially running operations from the midfield and opening the scoring in the fourth minute.
