Western Sydney Wanderers FC have tonight confirmed the loan signing of goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer for the upcoming Liberty A-Leagues season.
Bloomer joins the club from National Women’s Soccer League side Racing Louisville FC who recently finished the competition in ninth place on the ladder.
The 24-year-old shot stopper was the 26th pick in the 2022 NWSL draft and made her debut in April where she made three saves in the club’s fixture against Houston Dash in the Challenge Cup.
A two-time Big Ten Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, Bloomer will play outside of the United States for the first time in her career this season with the Wanderers and touched down in Western Sydney late last week.
