Western Sydney Wanderers Members and fans will have a dedicated train service from Parramatta to Central for the opening Sydney Derby of the 2026/27 Isuzu UTE A-League Men season.

Following discussions with Venues NSW and Transport for NSW, a dedicated eight-carriage service has been approved for Friday 16 October, helping make the journey east easier for Wanderers supporters heading to the Matchweek 1 clash.
The service will depart Parramatta at approximately 6:28pm and travel directly to Central Terminal, with an expected arrival of approximately 6:50pm.
With the Derby falling during the Friday evening peak, the dedicated service gives Wanderers supporters a clear option to travel together from the heart of Western Sydney ahead of one of the biggest fixtures on the Australian football calendar.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson said improving access for Members and fans had been an important focus ahead of the season opener.
“Our supporters are central to everything we do, and we know that getting across Sydney on a Friday evening can be one of the biggest challenges around an away Derby,” said Hudson.
“We have worked closely with Venues NSW and Transport for NSW to find a solution that gives our Members and fans a dedicated option out of Parramatta and makes the journey to the match that little bit easier.
“We thank both organisations for working with us and recognising how important it is to support the thousands of Wanderers fans who will make the trip.
“There is something different about a Sydney Derby and that starts long before the players walk out.
“The Derby starts well before kick-off. We want Parramatta Station filled with Red & Black and Western Sydney travelling together.
“Then we take that noise east.”
The dedicated service is expected to arrive at Central Terminal at approximately 6:50pm, allowing supporters to continue their journey to Allianz Stadium ahead of the Matchweek 1 Sydney Derby.
Supporters are encouraged to plan their full journey in advance and allow additional time when travelling on the night.
