If it wasn’t for a Wanderer, Hector Bellerin wouldn’t be playing for Arsenal. Find out why, and some other links, in this article.

Alexis Sanchez

Wanderers Assistant Coach Andres Carrasco worked with influential coach Alex Garcia during his time at clubs Dinamo Tbilisi and Sabadei.

Garcia was the coach that scouted and followed Alexis Sanchez before he became an Arsenal superstar and personally recommended him to Pep Guardiola who then went on to sign the youngster at Barcelona when he was only 21 years old.

Sanchez

Sanchez featured in over 80 matches for Barcelona in La Liga later moving to Arsenal for their 2014/15 season.

Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin was the protégé of the masterminds at Barcelona and Arsenal youth academies and began his progression into senior football signing his first professional contract with the Gunners in 2012 at only 17 years old.
