Western Sydney Wanderers FC have today confirmed the signing of Czech Republic international Jitka Chlastáková for the upcoming Liberty A-League season.
The midfielder is set to play for the first time outside of Europe having had a decorated career at the likes of Sparta Pragua, Slavia Prague, FC Carl Zeiss Jena, Bohemians Prague, and FK Dukla Prague.
During her time in the Czech Women’s First League, Chlastáková won the league six times, was the runner-up three times, and won the Cup three times and was a runner-up four times.
Chlastáková has played over 40 games for the Czech Republic and was recently part of the national team’s 2023 World Cup qualification campaign.
