After a gruelling contest on Sunday – the two teams put on a gallant display for fans at Blacktown Football Park.
Opportunities came and went for both sides – Blacktown edging closest in the second half as a convincing shot bounced off the woodwork.
The goalkeepers were outstanding and their excellence kept the match scoreless after forty minutes of regular time.

A result would be decided in a penalty shoot-out and it was Blacktown who prevailed on the fifth after Sydney United missed their third.
Blacktown City will now participate in the Pacific Finals to be held at the same venue in April.
