Wanderers Academy player Fabian Monge has been named the Foxtel Y-League Player of the Year at last night’s Dolan Warren Awards.
Monge featured in every match of the Wanderers Foxtel Y-League campaign last season and played an instrumental role in the team’s run to the Grand Final.
Recently promoted to the Wanderers Hyundai A-League team on a scholarship contract, Monge joined the Wanderers Academy at the start of the 2017/18 Foxtel Y-League season from his junior side Marconi Stallions.
The Bossley Park local scored on his Wanderers debut in the Foxtel Y-League and is a current member of the Young Socceroos.
The award capped off a great night for the Wanderers Academy at the Dolan Warren Awards with the club also awarded the Fair Play Award.
