Of Course the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers are sitting an impressive fourth on the competition ladder after Round 15 of 27 in the very first season, but that is not the full story.

We have selected a handful of comparisons by official statisticians SportsData to give a bit more of an insight.

• Wanderers lead the league in total shots with 215, ahead of Roar (204), Jets (189), Phoenix (185), Glory (182) and Sydney last with 140.

• Wanderers are equal second overall with shots on target with Glory (78), behind Roar (92), ahead of Jets (77), Adelaide (75) and Sydney last with 60.

• That leaves Wanderers last with shots on percentage with 36.3, with Roar first (45.1), Glory and Sydney second (42.9), Adelaide third (42.4).

• Of interest following the Mariners game, Wanderers have the lowest number of fouls won with 183, compared with Roar first with 228, Mariners (227), Adelaide and Victory (224).

• In fouls conceded, Wanderers are second only to Sydney (263) with 249, ahead of Heart (232), Victory (221), Jets (220) and Mariners last with (167).
