The collaboration will see the WSI brand feature on the front of the Wanderers’ jersey for the blockbuster clash on Tuesday 28 July 2026 at Accor Stadium, reinforcing the organisations’ shared commitment to representing and connecting the vibrant Western Sydney region.
This marks another milestone in the ongoing partnership between WSI and the Wanderers that formally kicked off in May this year, which aims to strengthen connection, inclusion and belonging across one of Australia’s most diverse and dynamic regions.

Bringing together Western Sydney’s home team and its future international gateway, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to celebrating the people, culture and ambitions of the region while creating opportunities for local communities to thrive.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO Scott Hudson said Western Sydney International Airport is one of the most significant projects in the history of the region, and the club is incredibly proud to have its support for such a landmark fixture.
“The Wanderers have always represented the passion, diversity and ambition of Western Sydney, and this partnership reflects the exciting future ahead for our region and its communities,” he said.
“To have the Western Sydney International Airport brand on the front of our jersey as we take on Chelsea FC is a special moment and one that will showcase our region to the world.”

WSI CEO Simon Hickey said the airport’s landmark partnership with the Wanderers is focused on creating meaningful connections while championing Western Sydney on and off the field.
“Our partnership with the Wanderers is grounded in a shared commitment to Western Sydney and the people who make this region one of the most vibrant and diverse places in Australia,” he said.
“The exciting match against Chelsea will attract global attention from football lovers around the world – presenting an incredible opportunity to celebrate the communities, cultures and sense of belonging that are emblematic of Western Sydney.”
“As we prepare to welcome our first passengers, we know WSI will play a role in bringing people together, and we’re excited to help showcase Western Sydney and its future to the world through this landmark fixture.”
As Sydney’s new 24-hour airport, WSI will soon connect Western Sydney with the world, opening new opportunities for tourism, trade, investment, and jobs while helping strengthen the region’s role as a globally connected destination. WSI remains on track to launch its Cargo Precinct on 26 July, while passenger operations will take off from 25 October.
