After announcing her signing for the Western Sydney Wanderers in September 2016, Paige signed a short-term contract to play UEFA Champions League with Apollon Ladies FC in Cyprus to stay match fit.
Nielsen made her Red & Black debut against Perth Glory in Round 1 of the Westfield W-League 2016/17 season, getting the assist for the club’s first goal of the season.
