Defender Georgia Yeoman-Dale is ready to be part of the Wanderers W-League revolution this season.
Yeoman-Dale, who previously played for the Red & Black in the 2018/19 season, spent 18 months out of the game due to season-ending injury.
The versatile defender recently returned to competitive football in the National Premier League Women’s with APIA Leichhardt and is looking forward to being back with the Wanderers.
“I’m super excited to be back in the Red & Black this coming season,” said Yeoman-Dale.
“Missing last season was tough for me personally but I loved seeing what the girls were able to achieve and I can’t wait to be part of it this season and hopefully go that little bit further.”
Yeoman-Dale has over 80 Westfield W-League appearances to her name and will be using that experience to bolster the team both on and off the field.
“I think we will have a lot of experience in the squad. I always hope that I am able to use my experience to help other players in the team to develop,” said Yeoman-Dale.
“But I know, I will also be learning a lot from my team mates and coaches as well.”
Taking all the lessons that she has learnt over the last two years, Yeoman-Dale is determined to keep enjoying her football and doing everything that she can to help the Red & Black break more records this season.
“Now that I am playing football, fit, healthy and enjoying it, my goal is to now maintain that and if I do, then I know I will play well,” explained Yeoman-Dale.
“I want to do anything I can to help this club lift the trophy at the end of the season.”
